This page gives the information we show customers before and when they pay online. It follows the same kind of layout used on professional services and platform terms (for example, clear identification of the seller, how and when charges occur, and how refunds work), consistent with Stripe’s guidance on commerce disclosures. Please read it together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
The legal entity name and address above should match the information registered with tax authorities and with Stripe for card payments, your receipts, and the Stripe Dashboard.
We sell professional services (consulting, advisory, and related deliverables), not consumer retail goods, unless a specific offer says otherwise. The scope, milestones, and fees for each engagement are described on our Site, in a written proposal, statement of work, or invoice.
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout or on your invoice (typically U.S. dollars unless we state otherwise). The total is the service fee plus any taxes we are required to collect. We do not add recurring charges unless a separate subscription or installment plan is offered and you agree to it before payment.
Card and other payment methods made available at checkout are processed by Stripe (or another processor we name at checkout). When you confirm payment, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected method for the amount shown.
For engagements billed by invoice, payment is due on the date stated on the invoice unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Services are performed remotely or as agreed in writing (meetings, calls, documents, and other deliverables). We do not ship physical products unless a particular engagement explicitly includes them.
Timeframes for starting or completing work are those in your agreement or proposal; consulting timelines can vary by scope.
Our approach is similar in spirit to clear platform-style payment rules: charges are tied to confirmed purchases, and refunds depend on what was promised and what has already been delivered. Adapted for consulting, this means:
Unlike consumer entertainment or digital-goods apps that may use in-app credits or points instead of cash in some cases, Just Ask Akira does not use an in-app points system for consulting fees; any refund will be handled in money to the original payment method when we approve a refund, unless we expressly agree a different remedy in writing.
The following is a summary in Japanese for convenience. In case of conflict between the Japanese summary and the English text above, the English version on this page and our Terms of Service control unless Japanese law requires otherwise.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Card data is processed by Stripe under its terms and security practices.
Purchases are also governed by our Terms of Service, including limitations of liability and governing law.
Stripe is a third-party payment processor and is not the seller of our Services. See the Stripe consumer terms.
